Philosophy is just the simple understanding of where we are. Philosophy is the mindset which allows us to understand where we are and how we got there, not a method for advancing or progressing in any logical way. Any philosophy is done through the lens of personal experiment or societal change. Thus, all philosophy can do is result in an understanding of the exact intellectual location of which we were already resident. Philosophy is understanding, not progress.
