My team in the Superman vs. Batman argument has just changed. I always used to think that Batman is better because he isn't invincible, he's just a human who fights crime with his skills and gadgets. An inspiring character, pushing us to examine why we ourselves don't fight the evil in the world.

The difference is that Superman does have super strength. He's bulletproof and can crash through walls without a scratch. That puts his moral code on display. A point which is often ignored. Superman could take by force any thing that he wanted, but he doesn't. He is morally superior and therefore a better role model and inspiration that Batman is.
