Thinking?

Am I thinking

Or do I think I’m thinking?

Are my thoughts of me

Or something hidden sliding

Sideways into my mind

Undetected poison

Sidling up against the inner curves

Of my corpus colossum

A battle of empty words

In a colossal colloseum

Who does the performing

Is not also dictating

Fourth estate

bought and paid

Who then rules the masses?

Whose thumb are we under?

Who decrees death for soldiers?

Who comes to crush the naysayers?

Where is the thumb that decides?

Find the kaiser

Or Caesar

If you prefer

What triumvirate rules America?

In this modern Roman dystopia

Excess is the strategum

Of pandering pacification

Citizens of colonial satan

We rape the land as if it were given

You rape the land without even thinking

Spewing Carbon and BPA

Living as if it’s the only way

Conditioned into a lifestyle so deranged

We’ve normalized the wage slave

The earth your birthright stolen away

By greedy rich bastards whose only concern

Is how many more billions they may one day earn

Bind those horrible men with razor sharp chains

Their greed and malice bring us all acid rains

And young rural children lifelong pains

For lives not that long in the first damn place

Cause they poison the water manufacturing waste

Destroying our shared planet for gain
